Job Summary:
Urban Logistics TMG is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Freight Dispatcher to join our dynamic logistics team. As a dispatcher, you’ll be responsible for coordinating loads, managing driver schedules, negotiating rates, and ensuring on-time deliveries. Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch freight for company-owned trucks and/or owner-operators
Book loads using top load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)
Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers for maximum profitability
Coordinate driver routes, pickup and delivery schedules
Monitor driver locations, maintain real-time communication
Ensure all paperwork, BOLs, and confirmations are completed and accurate
Maintain daily records, update TMS, and track KPIs
Resolve any delays, issues, or emergencies during transit
Provide excellent customer service and support to drivers and clients
Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in freight dispatching (OTR, dry van, reefer, or flatbed)
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and trucking logistics
Familiarity with load boards, GPS tracking, and dispatch software
Excellent negotiation, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

As a Freight Broker Agent, you’ll play a key role in coordinating freight shipments, managing carrier relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:
Source and secure freight through cold calling, lead generation, and account management
Build and maintain relationships with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers
Negotiate competitive freight rates and manage load profitability
Track shipments and ensure timely pickup and delivery
Utilize TMS software and industry tools to manage load lifecycle
Provide outstanding service and communication throughout the shipping process
Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a Freight Broker or Freight Agent
Active book of business (preferred but not required)
Strong knowledge of freight, transportation, and supply chain operations
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and entrepreneurial mindset
Access to internet, phone, and basic home office setup
Familiarity with TMS platforms (e.g., DAT, Truckstop, McLeod, AscendTMS, etc.)

Job Summary:
As an Office Administrator & Freight Dispatcher, you will be responsible for managing administrative tasks and coordinating freight dispatch operations. This hybrid role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of the trucking and logistics industry. You’ll be the central hub of communication between drivers, brokers, and internal teams, ensuring that both the office and the freight side run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
Manage daily office operations and clerical tasks (phones, emails, filing, data entry)
Maintain accurate records, load documentation, and compliance reports
Process invoices, BOLs, and payment paperwork
Assist with onboarding drivers and completing DOT compliance documentation
Coordinate schedules and support management with reporting and logistics planning
Freight Dispatching Duties:
Dispatch freight for company drivers and/or owner-operators
Book loads using load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) and broker networks
Negotiate freight rates and confirm load details
Maintain constant communication with drivers for pick-up, drop-off, and status updates
Use dispatch software to update and track shipments
Resolve delays or issues during transit with professionalism and urgency
Qualifications:
2+ years of office administration or dispatching experience in the trucking industry
Strong understanding of logistics, freight dispatch, and DOT regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, TMS software, and load board platforms
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
